Immune Boosting Tea
Made myself a cup of this tea with my freeze-dried herbs. I'm trying to get myself used to herbal teas because I know how amazing they are for you, and I want to utilize what I grow and get it in me.
Roselle Red (high in vitamin C, antioxidants): ½ cup
Purple Dead Nettle (vitamins A, C, K, immune support): ¼ cup
Yarrow (antiviral, immune-boosting): ¼ cup
Dash of Raw Honey
Recipe:
Mix ½ cup roselle red with ¼ cup each of purple dead nettle and yarrow for a 1-cup batch. Steep 1-2 teaspoons in 1 cup of hot water for 5-10 minutes.
Roselle Red’s anthocyanins and vitamin C bolster immunity, Purple Dead Nettle adds vitamins and minerals, and yarrow’s flavonoids and essential oils support the body’s defenses.
